Favorite Natural Products

Here are some of the best natural skin and hair care products that I've tried this year. I'll explain why I absolutely love each one.

Dr. Bronner's Pure Liquid Castile Soap Peppermint

This product is a great alternative to generic soap. It's cost-effective, versatile, and nontoxic. Since it's recommended to be diluted, one bottle goes a very long way.

I admire and trust the brand. They're certified organic, cruelty-free, ethical, fair trade, non-GMO; the list only gets better. (Dr. Bronner)

The peppermint version is my favorite so far. It's gentle and refreshing; a lovely addition to my homemade cleansers.

Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Shampoo & Conditioner

I was looking for something new to try after using my homemade shampoo and conditioner recipe and decided to give these a go. For being a natural alternative, it's quite a luxurious combo. I love being familiar with each ingredient they contain; it's a simple and lovely solution to having happy and healthy hair.

After using these, my hair feels thick, full of moisture, and smooth. Both are color-safe and free of any chemicals. I'm a huge fan of the ingredients because there aren't any unnecessary additives that natural products sometimes contain. These are rich in shea butter, natural oils, and vitamins for total nourishment.

The company is family owned and operated, cruelty free, ethical, sustainable, and uses certified organic, natural, and fair trade ingredients. (Shea Moisture)

Thayer's Alcohol-Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera

I use this product everyday after washing my face and it leaves my skin refreshed and clean as can be. It's a wonderful toner with a lovely scent and each ingredient contributes to a healthy, glowing complexion. This product isn't drying or irritating; my skin is soft and moisturized after use.

Thayer's has a long history of providing natural remedies. They offer products that don't contain harsh chemicals and that are made with certified organic witch hazel and aloe vera. (Thayer's)

Heritage Lavender Flower Water

This is a great aromatherapy and skin treatment. I haven't repurchased this product, but I really enjoyed using it while it lasted. It worked as a setting spray, toning spray, and calming spray. Lavender is very lovely and relaxing; definitely one of my favorites.

Heritage products are eco-friendly, cruelty-free, and contain high quality ingredients. (Heritage)

Organic to Green Coco Oil, Rainforest Scrub, Arctic Moisturizer, & Clean Hand Sanitizer

I love everything about this brand. I think you will, too!

The coco oils are very nourishing, gentle, and luxurious. Each one has unique healing properties. I've tried the vanilla chamomile, rose, and jasmine ylang ylang; they smell so lovely and are unbelievably versatile

My jar of rainforest scrub is empty. Need I say more? Follow this with the arctic moisturizer and the result is amazing. My skin has never felt so soft and revitalized.

I use the hand sanitizer everyday, multiple times a day. It's the only sanitizer out of the many I've tried that doesn't leave a nasty residue after use. It's a perfect blend for me.

Organic to Green products are cruelty-free, vegan, EWG verified, and are made with sustainable, organic ingredients. They use post-consumer recycled bottles and 10% of their profits are given back to support climate improvement. (Organic to Green)
