Chamomile Sugar Scrub
There's nothing more rejuvenating than a nice, natural skin scrub after a long day. I love to exfoliate my skin at least once a week and this is one of my new favorite treatments! It's simple to make, easy to love, and you might already have the ingredients in your pantry.
Chamomile Tea Bag
Depending on how much scrub you think you'll need, add roughly equal parts of the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix them together. Add the oil a little bit at a time to make sure the mixture doesn't become to oily. The sugar and chamomile should be prominent to create a nice, scrubby-texture.
Use any oil of your choice. I chose grapeseed oil because it's gentle on my skin and I used this on my face, but feel free to experiment with any kind such as jojoba, olive, hemp seed, etc.
When your scrub is ready, wet your skin and begin to exfoliate. Use a hot towel to wash it off and your skin will be glowing!
Chamomile contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that help repair the skin. It's soothing, gentle, and can help reduce redness and acne. Using it this way helps remove old or dry skin and promotes a healthy and glowing complexion.
Sugar is also a wonderful exfoliant, and natural oil provides a deep cleanse that doesn't strip away the good stuff our skin needs!
Thank you so much for reading this post. I hope you enjoyed it! If you give this a try, let me know what you think. If you have any good skin exfoliating recipes, I'd love to know about them!
